Childhood obesity is a severe problem that adversely affects many children. The rationale behind this statement is that if individuals experience a health issue in their childhood, it is going to lead to negative consequences in the future. Multiple causes and effects demonstrate that the problem should not be ignored. According to Deal et al. (2020), contributing factors include maternal smoking, improper diet, poverty, family stressors, insufficient physical exercise, and many other phenomena. These various causes imply that different consequences can be found. As one can clarify, negative effects influence pulmonary, gastrointestinal, neurological, cardiovascular, endocrine, renal, musculoskeletal, and reproductive systems. Furthermore, children with obesity are often subject to various comorbidities, including hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus, stroke, asthma, and different cancers (Deal et al., 2020). This information demonstrates that it is impossible to overestimate the significance of the selected problem. The A3 paper will then present a detailed analysis of childhood obesity and offer a feasible solution.
