Consequently, controlling the performance was perceived as an independent variable, and adherence to guidelines was a dependent one. Nurses of eight intensive care units have participated in the experiment, which presents a quite precise representative of the examined population. In order to assess the extent of effectiveness, questionnaires for nurses and family of deceased patients and interviews with nurses were used (Noome et al., 2016). The examination appears to be comprehensive, so this tool may be considered credible.
The analysis is presented in proportions, which is helpful for depicting the situation in the average of cases. The result revealed the increase in following the provided guidelines, which has a beneficial impact on the treatment according to families answers in the first group (Noome et al., 2016).
