I think my best learning experience was when I started as a high school student. When I first started high school, I had real friends who treated me like a family member, which I hadn’t had in years as a child. I didn’t expect that after my past, someone would take the time to approach me and ask if I wanted to be friends. I am a person who cannot see the joy in my eyes since only a few people, including my parents, can make my eyes grin. However, with the arrival of my friends, my world began to shine. At times when I spend time with my friends who are considered my second family I forget all my problems because they make me happy in ways I can’t explain.
I learned to get along with my classmates, I learned skills that I never thought I could do. I learned to be a true person without fear of being hurt by the students around me. I overcame my fears. No one would recognize me as a hurt and struggling person. In high school, I experienced how to get hurt by people I care about, how to be cheated on by someone I trust, how to be reprimanded by unkind words, and most of all, how to rely on nothing and look stupid.
I thought then that I would never experience having friends who would treat me as family. But I’m wrong because god gave them to me. God gives me a purpose to live with them like family. I thought that I was so unlucky person because of no one who wanted to be with me. But since the day that I entered high school life I was so thankful because they came into my life They gave me strength to fight and to be brave in the struggles that came to me.
I realize that you will not just be given a trial by the lord that you cannot pass. I know that God always has a plan for me. I realized that no one can stop my dreams because I have my own ways to achieve all my dreams and they can’t stop me from pursuing my future achievements. Also, I realized that never give up when others bring you down. I’m thankful because god is always on my side to protect me and to listen to all of my doubts in my life.
