Science has always been an integral part of human life as it influences the further development of society and promotes its evolution. It is also obvious that research work is the aspect that guarantees reception of new information and data which is vital for the development of science. That is why it is impossible not to give much attention to this issue. Nowadays, research education, or research training, attracts great attention as it can promote the increase of the level of general knowledge. Resting on these facts, the given article tends to analyze the modern approach to supervisor development which is based on assumption that for the further development of this sphere it is necessary to understand what supervisors do.

The main idea of the given research article is to investigate and examine the main peculiarities of the educative process of modern research students which are influenced by the existing research environment. The authors state the fact that nowadays research is taken as one of the main aspects of the successful development of a state including such issues as national economic growth.
