Part I: Authentification of a Famous Forgery. Students are asked to evaluate the samples of known handwriting of Howard Hughes and compare it to handwriting of his claimed-to-be-will found in 1970. Samples of different words, as well as signatures and full signed name are provided. (20 points)
Part II: Personal Identification through Handwriting. Students are provided with six handwriting samples and 20+ handwritten names of the possible authors of the sample. The goal of this exercise is to identify the authors of the samples by comparing names with the writing. (20 points)
Part III: Attempt to Forge. In this exercise students are asked to attempt to forge their own handwriting in order to assess the ways the person can distinguish between the forged and the real one. (10 points)
