Guidance for your assignment
Guidance for the assessment will primarily be provided in the lecture slides, as we progress though the module the page will be added.
Part 1
Engage with the career development pathway exercises, and as you regularly engage in reflection use your learning to consider the two writing tasks.
Part 2
Your first paragraph should be written in week 2, about that weeks topic of mindsets, the last paragraph will be written in week 11 about mindful movement.
When writing your paragraphs ensure that you are using academic literature, this is an essential academic practice. Each of your weekly paragraphs must be linked to relevant literature. Each week a suitable source will be identified in the slides, you can find your own literature but it must be relevant. If you are not sure you can contact your course leader to ask, or use the provided source.
Each paragraph should be 150 words +/- 10%.
You must engage with the theory, link it to your life and make a recommendation to your peers. (See week 2 for an example)
Part 3
Three events from your first year of study at the University of East London. This can be any experience that you think can connect to the theories we explored in this module. Each paragraph should be between 380 and 450 words.
Each paragraph should cite literature. At least two theories should be used to explore the experience. You should use this to plan for the future.
It is not recommended that you start writing for this section until at least week 6 as we will not have explored enough theory.
