Adolf Hitler was responsible for 11 million deaths during the Holocaust. Of the 11 million, six million were Jews and the other five million were non-Jews murdered by the Nazis following orders handed down by the Fuhrer himself. On January 30, 1933 Hitler began his extermination of the Jews. Many Jews were removed from their homes because Hitler told the public that Jews were evil and they were the main cause of World War I. They also were stripped of their possessions, sent to concentration camps, or marched out of town and executed. These actions ripped families apart and caused them great agony. They were starved, forced into unfavorable conditions, used as labor workers, gassed, and used as test subjects for medical experiments. Those killed were buried in mass graves, or were cremated to cover up any evidence of wrongdoing. Hitlers rise to power had impacted the Great Depression, advanced Germany’s government by pulling out the weaknesses, and led to the imminent death of numerous innocent people. Adolf Hitler was a ruthless and corrupt leader; he gained his leadership role and power through manipulation of the masses and exterminated millions of innocent people in the process.

In the beginning of Hitlers rise, he was very poor and he joined the military when WW I started to run its course. He decided to join the 1st company of the 16th Bavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment and was deployed in October of 1914. Hitler served as a dispatch runner, which was a very difficult position to do. Many soldiers And at times he would have several outbursts and make speeches about how horrible the Jews were. He had claimed they were compromising the war effort, he was also deemed crazy by some of his comrades. After surviving battle he was promoted to Lance-Corporal. He received several medals for bravery including the Iron Cross First Class.

During Hitlers time in the war he suffered two injuries, he was hit in the leg in the Battle of the Somme, he was also temporarily blinded by a British gas attack. Afterward, he then returned home and was getting older, he had no education, nor career or expectation, he had only plans to stay into the German Military. He was later selected as a Ministerial Officer and was sent to a Military Camp in Germany. He would give speeches about issues in economy, political and social issues, and emigration. He was not really concerned about what the German people really wanted until he saw the issues people were going through in Germany, Hilter was possessed of a burning hatred for the democratic Republic…His aim was to recreate a strong nationalist Germany. This could only be done by a party that was established in the lower classes. So, in 1919, Hitler decided to join the German Workers Party.

When Hitler joined the German Workers Party. The party released its first program which was known as the Twenty-Five Points. the program was written by Adolf Hitler, Gottfried Feder, Anton Drexler and Dietrich Eckart. The party did not accept the terms of the Versailles Treaty. They wanted to reinforce ideas for the German people. Such as Nationalism and equal rights were only for the German people, any foreigners would not get these rights. Later on, the program would soon change income for the citizens of Germany. Hitler did not like any socialits idea, even the ones that had to do with racial and sexual equality. Hitler had grown very powerful and started to gain complete control over the Nationalist/Socialist party. A lot of the founders were against him and wanted him to be stopped, but they couldnt. He had everybody behind him. The newspapers, backers, and the growing S.A. At the end of 1921, Hitler had led the establishing Nazi Party. Which led to some issues with the Weimer Republic and the penalizing terms of the Versailles Treaty. Also Ernst Rohm recruited the S.A. Hitler used them to protect party meetings and to attack anyone against the growing Nazi Party. These S.A. had to wear, grey jackets, brown shirts, Swastika armbands, ski-caps, knee-breeches, thick woolen socks and combat boots. Which they would be accompanied by bands and were carrying Swastika flags. They would parade through the streets of Munich. The party needed the most protection possible so, the Nazi party recruited more militant soldiers, known as Stormtroopers which were members of the Right-Wing Private Armies. They knew how to use violence against their enemies. Furthermore, Hitler would strike against Germanys Government with some aid.

Adolf Hitler and his companion, Ernst Rohm, were negotiating with the Patriotic Leagues in Bavaria. They would shortly gather other groups such as Reich Banner, Patriotic League of Munich and Oberland Defense League. With in a few months , Hitler and Rohm would work very hard to bring other groups to go against the German government, and to become known as the The Beer Hall Putsch. During this revolt, Hitler wanted to take action immediately, he put his 15,000 men up to the ready, Later that day the Bavarian Cabinet put a state of emergency and wanted to ban Hitler from holding any more meetings. The military General Hans Von Seeckt declared if Hitler tries to take power of Germany, he himself will take action. But the Nazi leader new it was to late to turn back, hisfollowers were demanding for action. Members of the S.A and others forced their way into a large Beer Hall where a leader was addressing the crowd, hitler proclaimed the beginning of a national revolution and led them to the center of Munich, where they got into a gun battle with police. Hitler and his party were arrested, He was put in prison for treason for nine months. Even though the revolution failed, Hitler decided this wasnt a way to obtain power in Germany, but the Putsch brought the Nazi party recognition in Germany.

Throughout his months in prison he started to write a book called, Mein Kampf. Hitler expanded on Nationalist, anti-semitic views he developed in his earlier years in Vienna and put down plans for Germany and the world, he sought to establsih when he came into to power.
