Introduction
Leadership training is important for managers since it equips them with skills necessary to enable them lead the organization towards attainment of organizational goals. Change in management structure and approach arises from major realignment in the functioning of the organization. It is therefore essential for management teams to undertake new leadership training that will instill invaluable skills in coordinating core activities during the transition (Forsyth, Aviles, & Leitch, 2005, p. 7).
