Educated people have a clear advantage over those who dont have one. Education liberates you from the suffocation murkiness of ignorance and illiteracy. It opens new horizons for you, frees your imagination, and helps you realize your full potential, your capability of achieving greater heights, and embark on tougher endeavors. Not only does education endows you with common sense and the general perspective on the world, but it also helps you discover who you are and what youre truly capable of being. An educated person is someone who has a cultured mind thats fully capable of critically evaluating and analyzing things before accepting them as they come. Its the mentality of the educated mind that sets it apart from all else.

I have very clear reasons for pursuing an education and am convinced about its absolute importance in ones life. Firstly, education makes you a better informed and disciplined individual, capable of dealing with information and possessing skills needed in todays competitive environment. The 21st century brought with it buzz words like globalization, consumerism, and a revival in the belief of the survival of the fittest notion. The one, who possesses the appropriate skills and mental acumen to respond to lifes challenges and problems, is the one wholl survive in this rapidly evolving era of complex sciences and intricate technology. Secondly, education increases your employability manifold. At any given point in time, your degree acts like your token of acceptance into the professional world and your pass to all barriers you may face in case you dont have a degree. The corporate world provides immense growth opportunities to people whore well educated and who display skills and strengths that set them apart from the masses. Third, its your safest investment for future stability. In the sense that an education/degree is your note of entrance into the professional world, it opens doors toward better salaries and an improved standard of living. Fourth, education gives you a practical perspective into how things are done in reality and how mere ideas can be transformed into successful ventures and multinational firms. Its everything one would need if one were to pursue their dream. Fifth, an education gives an individual the right attitude and confidence they need to outshine. Its your degree that makes you a proud candidate in front of a potential employer, a pleased boss wholl consider giving you a pay raise. Adaptation and adjustability are what your education gives you and it definitely makes you a more reliable and competitive player in the competitive world of business today. The result is a usually better self-concept and enhanced self-esteem which goes on to improve the general quality of life for the person- both personally and professionally. Others see them as people with a balanced and rational approach toward life and often seek guidance from them and respect them generally. Their opinion matters more than others and theyre usually heard and regarded highly than most others.

Although the proposition that education is always effective and provides you with all the above-mentioned benefits is highly debatable since it depends on a lot of variables including the quality of education thats affected by schooling standards, teaching skills, environment, grading system, etc, the importance of education itself (all levels, primary, elementary, high school, grad school, post-grad degree) cannot be overestimated.
