Through the process, she will be open and aware of what to do to avoid depression, thus creating self-as-context. If the situation needs to be attended to more than once, then the therapist should give the client extra days to come for the service.
Acceptance commitment therapy is the best way to handle people with depressive disorder. It consists of several values that ensure people will depression to deal with. It means that the client should be flexible in dealing with any situation depending on their mental state. This value includes mindfulness, exploration of values, practical exercise, metaphors, imagery exercise, paradoxes, role play, and homework (Graham et al., 2016). These values will help the client control her inner feeling that might affect her mental state, leading to depression. By choosing to work with the values, a client will accept her thoughts and feelings that will make her recognize present life (Sloshower et al., 2020).
Values determined will help her live the required life since I will be able to explain to her the goodness of putting them in mind as it will allow her to make better decisions. I will also give a brief mentorship to the client to build her self-esteem and her inner motion. This will help the client decide on taking any action exceptionally positive decision has to be made in the clients mind.
